
Calvary Football Club is delighted to announce the appointment of Jimmy Kintu Mwera as Head Coach of the men’s first team on a contract running until June 2027.
Jimmy is widely regarded as one of the most promising young coaches in Ugandan football, with a strong reputation for developing talent and working effectively with young players.
His leadership and vision will be key as the club embarks on its new chapter in the StarTimes Uganda Premier League.
Speaking on the appointment, Calvary FC Chief Executive Officer, Joel Gadafi, said:

On joining Calvary FC, Head Coach Jimmy Kintu Mwera said:

He added:
“We want to build a project that will last, and I believe in projects. My first impression was the excellent working environment—away from town, quiet, and perfect for developing players.”
Looking ahead, Jimmy emphasized the club’s football philosophy:
