Calvary Football Club is about to write a new chapter, our very first season in the Uganda Premier League. The excitement in Midigo and across Yumbe and West Nile is real, and no one feels it more than our CEO, Joel Gadafi.

Speaking to the club media team, Joel couldn’t hide his pride:

“Getting promoted was a dream the club chased for years. Now we’re here, and we know it’s going to be tough, but we’re ready to fight for our place.”

The CEO was clear about the club’s main objective, staying in the top flight.

“We’re not here to make up the numbers. Every game, home or away, we’ll give everything. If we work hard, stay disciplined, and keep learning, we can secure our place in this league.”

Joel says the fans will play a huge role this season.

“Midigo, Yumbe, West Nile, this is your club. When we play at home, we want our opponents to feel the noise, the color, the energy of our people. The players draw strength from that.”

While staying in the league is the first goal, the club is also laying foundations for the future. Investments in player development, better facilities, and stronger partnerships are already in the works.

“This is just the start. One day we’ll look back and see that this season was the moment Calvary FC truly arrived.”

From a dusty pitch in Midigo to the grand stage of the Premier League, the journey continues, and the fight is only beginning.
